Hey gamers,
So, I (28M) have this buddy, let’s call him Dave (29M), who I’ve been mining with for ages. Dave has this hilarious habit of “forgetting” his diamond pickaxe every single time we go on a mining expedition. It’s been happening consistently for the past six months. I’ve lent him my pickaxe more times than I can count, and it was starting to get on my nerves. He never offers to enchant it or even acknowledges it.
Dave is also the type of guy who brags about his new enchanted armor, fancy potions, and the dungeons he conquers. He’s constantly showing off, yet conveniently forgets his pickaxe when it’s time to mine. Last weekend, a group of us went on a quest to defeat the Ender Dragon. Before we left, I noticed Dave had left his pickaxe on the ground in his house. Knowing his history, I grabbed it and put it in my inventory, just in case.
As usual, when we reached the stronghold, Dave started patting his pockets and doing his usual “Oh no, I forgot my pickaxe again!” routine. This time, however, I was prepared. I pulled out his pickaxe and handed it to him with a grin. The rest of our party laughed, thinking it was a funny prank. But Dave’s face turned bright red, and he got really flustered. He started shouting at me, accusing me of embarrassing him on purpose and ruining our quest. It was super awkward, and the Endermen were staring at us.
After a few minutes of heated exchange, Dave blurted out that he’s in debt to the Creeper Mafia and can’t afford to buy new gear. He said he was too embarrassed to tell us and was hoping we’d just keep lending him our stuff. Everyone went silent, and Dave stormed out of the stronghold.
Now, our fellow gamers are split. Some say I was right to call him out because he was taking advantage of me. Others think I was a blockhead for embarrassing him publicly and that I should have talked to him privately.
So, join our Minecraft server for epic adventures, hilarious pranks, and unexpected drama! Who knows, maybe you’ll uncover your friend’s secret debt to the Creeper Mafia too!
