V For Vanilla is a vanilla SMP started on the 4th of December, 2021. Our goal is to provide players with a true vanilla, unaltered gameplay experience. We have minimal admin intervention, giving players the freedom to play the game how they like, while keeping things fair for everyone by banning cheaters. To keep the vanilla experience authentic there are no game changing plugins or commands. We have a small community with players from all around the world. As V For Vanilla aims to provide a true vanilla experience, the use of mods that alter gameplay is not allowed. Optifine and minimap mods are exceptions.
2. Are there any restrictions on building in the world?
Players are free to build wherever they like, but be aware that griefing is allowed. It’s recommended to hide and protect your valuable builds.
3. How do I report a player for cheating?
You can report a player by contacting a moderator or admin on the Discord server. Please provide evidence if possible.
4. What should I do if I encounter a hacker on the server?
If you suspect a player of hacking, please report them to a moderator or admin. Do not engage with the hacker or confront them directly.
5. Can I request a map reset?
Map resets are not planned at this time. The server aims to maintain a long-term world for players to build and explore in.
