    It uses plugins but it tries to keep the real Minecraft feeling. The changes are more like quality of life stuff so playing feels smoother without turning into something totally different.

    What stands out is how the server listens to players. The staff asks the community what should be added and they try to bring in new content regularly based on those suggestions.

    It also focuses on being fair. It says it will never go pay to win and ranks are earned for free through effort. There is a store if you want to support but it is optional.

    They also run custom events often so people have something to do together and not get bored.

    I found a Java Paper server running on 1.21.11 and it has a zeppelin and warship kind of vibe.

    It is pretty small right now with like 2 to 4 players most of the time and around 5 at peak so it feels chill and not crowded.

    Bedrock players can join too using the port. Cracked players can also join and if you have a legit account you just do /premium accept.

    The community seems friendly and there is a dynmao plus other nice stuff to use while you play.

    Rattata SMP is a mature community survival server that tries to stay as close to vanilla as possible. It runs on Paper and it supports both Java and Bedrock players.

    The rules are simple and it is mostly just do not grief and use common sense. There is no teleporting and there are no modified loot tables or custom world generation so it feels like basic vanilla.

    It is set to hard difficulty and it has 33 percent player sleep. There is a live map and the server is whitelist only. Simple Voice Mod is optional and CoreProtect is there with /co i to help investigate problems.

    The server launched on Dec 26th and players can apply through the Discord.

    Headrest SMP is a Paper server on 1.20.10 with a few quality of life plugins and an active community. It uses Terralith and other structure plugins so exploring and building has more stuff to find.

    The server is roleplay focused with lore and factions. People try to be friends and build together but there are also wars and fights when groups clash. PvP is more of a side thing but it can still happen.

    There is a safe zone at spawn where players can build shops and hang out. They also use the Simple VC mod so people can talk in voice.

    The server has rules and plugins to keep fights fair like no elytra during combat and combat logging protection. There is also /sit and more plugins. It runs on a dedicated machine with 20GB of RAM and a 5800x3d CPU to help reduce lag.

    The servers are free to play and there are no ads and no paywalls and no gimmicks. Each server is set for up to 20 players so it feels like a small chill community instead of a huge messy one.
