I found a server that runs modpacks and then switches to a new pack every few months. People vote on the next pack so it feels like the community picks what happens next.
There is pvp with rules that try to keep it fair. If you do not want to fight you can avoid pvp and still have fun.
They also do not allow player raids so your builds can stay safe. Builders are welcome and it sounds like they really like when people make the world look nice.
A new pack is about to start since Soulrend won the pack vote.
