This server is called TwinFront and it runs on Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. The whole idea is that there are two rival clans. One clan is in the north and the other clan is in the south. In the middle there is a super dangerous NPC island with risky loot. Between the two main islands there is a huge ocean so you really have to think about boats raids and navigation.
The server uses more than 40 mods. The main ones are Create for automation and factories and TACZ for modern guns and tactical fights. Because of this battles are not just spam hitting. You actually need strategy and teamwork. People have to coordinate attacks defend land and try to control territory.
There is an AutoModpack system so the modpack downloads and updates automatically when you join. You do not have to set up the mods yourself. You just hop in and it gets handled for you.
The server is not open 24 7. During holidays it is online from late morning to late evening. Outside holidays it has different hours on weekdays and weekends. The owners are still recruiting more players because the two clans need to be more balanced. Right now it feels like a good time to join if you want to help shape the war and pick a side.

Kronos SMP is a huge Earth server where the whole world is scaled to 1 to 500 and everything starts fresh. There are no old empires and no giant nations from before. Everyone spawns in an empty map and has to pick a real location and try to claim it and keep it.
The server is all about turning factions into actual nations. Players form groups and then turn those groups into countries. You use strategy and politics more than just grinding. There is diplomacy alliances wars and backstabbing and the borders on the map actually change when people win or lose.
The economy is run by players so power comes from your land and the people who play with you and not from kits or pay to win stuff. Admins do not play favorites. Wars are real and territories can switch hands so nothing is just cosmetic.
This server is for people who like planning and history style drama that really affects the world. It is for players who want to lead scheme or go to war at 3am. If someone just wants a chill SMP this is probably not the right place.
It runs on Java Edition with version 1.20.1 and the host is strong so it can support a lot of players without lag. Once the map opens it is every man for himself.

Polbloco is a survival server that feels like a full Minecraft world with a lot of stuff to do. It uses SlimeFun so you get a bunch of extra items and machines and new ways to evolve your gameplay. There is also a special mining system called Minetorio that makes mining and automation feel different from normal.
The server has a unique gladiator system so players who like pvp get proper battles instead of random chaos. There is an active economy with player shops where people trade and build up their money over time. Every week there are events and special rewards so the world does not feel dead or boring.
Polbloco runs on a stable host so it does not lag all the time and the staff team actually hangs out on the server and helps people. The community is pretty active and new players keep joining so there are always people to talk to or fight.
The coolest part is the geopolitics with Towny and sieges. You can create your own territory build a town form alliances and go to war with other groups. It feels like a mix of building fighting and strategy all in one server.

This is a nation on a big anarchy style server called CivMC. The nation is called Orient and they are trying to grow and get more players.
The server has some plugins but the people there will teach you how they work so you do not have to know everything already. You just join and learn as you play.
If you like nations and big fights and all the wild stuff that happens in between this place is made for you. They want pvpers builders and grinders so pretty much any playstyle is welcome.
It feels like a community that wants to get strong together and make a cool nation on an anarchy world where anything can happen.
