HighTide SMP is a new 18 plus survival server that just opened and it is aiming for a tight crew where people actually talk and connect.
It is whitelist only so you have to apply and they want trusted players. The server supports both Java and Bedrock so you can join from pretty much any device.
They run community nights like game nights and movie nights plus event nights and drinking nights. The plugins include graves so you do not lose your stuff when you die. There is faster tree chopping a dynmap you can view online and CoreProtect to stop grief.
There is also chest refill after five minutes so other players get a chance to loot and you can toggle PvP on or off for duels. They plan to start the world on the first Saturday once they hit 30 members.

PurpleSMP is a relaxed survival server where you can mostly chill and build without getting jumped all the time. PvP is off by default and you can toggle it on if you just wanna fight your friends.
It uses mcMMO so leveling skills makes grinding feel way more satisfying. There is also a daily event with double mcMMO XP from 6 to 7PM EST.
The economy is run by players since there are no shops and no currency. Land claims help protect your builds and everyone gets a personal vault for extra storage. There is also a web map you can use to look around the world.

PurpleSMP is a small survival server made for people who want a relaxing place to build on the latest Minecraft versions without worrying about griefers or cheaters.
It has mcMMO so leveling skills makes grinding feel more fun. The economy is player made with no server shops and no currency so trading is up to the community.
PvP is off by default and you can toggle it if you want to fight friends. There are land claims to protect builds and every block placed or broken is logged. Your inventory also gets backed up when you join or leave and when you die so staff can help restore items if rules get broken.
