Konohaven is a Java SMP that just kicked off Season 5 and it is trying something new. The big idea is player autonomy so the community gets to decide how spawn looks how paths work and how the shopping district and infrastructure should run.
People can start committees or just do their own thing. If you care a lot about spawn planning paths or getting a nether hub going fast you can rally others and build it the way you want.
The server is on Hard difficulty and it is hosted in Eastern US Virginia. There is single player sleep and a live map. Simple Voice Chat is optional and you do not need mods to join.
Chunks will generate out to 1500 at the start to help early lag and there is no set world border after that. The seed will be public. World generation will be tweaked to add new features while keeping the vanilla feel.
Blaze and Caves Advancements are on with less chat spam. There is also an optional Origins datapack and the origin choices will be explained before you pick.

Xapros SMP is a chill vanilla Minecraft server for adults. It feels cozy and friendly and the community is from all over the world so there are usually people around at different times.
The world is long term and it started in January 2025 with no planned resets. It is a good place for big builds and megaprojects and the server aims for strong performance with low lag.
It stays close to vanilla with no land claims but griefing and theft are not allowed. There is a way to inspect what happened if something goes missing.
There is a nice spawn area with player shops that use diamonds. Travel is easy with Nether ice boat highways. You can also use a world map with Bluemap and there is no world border so you can go as far out as you want.

Foggy Willows is for people who want real vanilla survival and nothing extra. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no plugins and no datapacks.
The world is hard mode and there is no teleport or sethome stuff. There is also no world border so you can just keep going.
Spawn is not some big confusing area with tons of text. Players are expected to handle their own social problems and just play the way they want. Builders and technical players fit in well.
