NodeSMP is a hardcore vanilla Minecraft server where you only get one life. The goal is to make real stories happen with tons of players so it feels like you are the main character.
Text chat is disabled so people use proximity chat and signs to communicate. The world has no border and there is farlands so explorers can go really far.
It is meant to be chaotic and not staged. There are orbital strike cannons and a lot of anti cheats so hackers are not supposed to ruin it. Youtubers can post and the server wants big moments and clips to spread around.
