I found a modded hardcore Minecraft event that is built around a 7 day apocalypse story on one island. Everyone spawns together so it starts loud and chaotic and you have to figure out who to trust.
Day 1 is normal survival and you just prepare. Day 2 brings a blood moon so nights get way more dangerous and mobs feel stronger. Day 3 is eternal night so the sun never comes back and creatures can carry weapons.
Day 4 has meteors hitting the island and something starts spreading. Day 5 turns it into a dead world where crops barely grow and food gets scarce. Day 6 is rising waters and the ocean slowly floods the island. Day 7 is a tsunami and there is basically nowhere to run.
It uses a one life system. If you die players get 60 seconds to revive you and if it fails you are out. You need a microphone and you need to be able to install mods using CurseForge or Modrinth. This server is ultra hardcore for real. You get one life and you cannot just heal back up like normal. The whole goal is to stay alive as long as you can and stack points while you do it.
Points are simple. You get points for every minute you survive and for every experience point you earn. Mobs and big bosses can give huge score too like the dragon.
If you die you are not fully done forever. You can earn a revive back to the Overworld by winning the weekly Sunday competition. There is also a Sunday team competition at 11CT and prizes can include a revive or an advancement shout out.
You start in a Spawn Ship until you feel ready to jump in. If you hold a bone block you can see the current top scoring players.
The world uses an Apocalypse DataPack so mobs get weird and dangerous. Zombies can turn players into zombies when they kill them. Some skeletons are enhanced and bats can bite and even turn into an illusionist. Spiders can place webs and there are special threats like Ox Heads the Litch Herobrine and Medusa in the Nether.
