I found this server that feels really old school and super cozy. It has a PvE world a Creative world and a Snapshot server. The whole place is mostly vanilla and it is all about chill gameplay and building with other people.
On the PvE server you play survival without any pvp. You only fight mobs and not other players. People like to team up build towns and even full cities. They reset the PvE map not that long ago so there is still room for fresh bases. Halcyon is a medieval style Lands PvP server that tries to feel like old school Minecraft but on the newest version. It was started by a postgraduate medievalist and it really focuses on immersion and survival.
