This is a vanilla anarchy server that is running on the Minecraft snapshot 12w24a.

The cool thing is they go through every official server version even snapshots and even the april fools ones. The community can vote and the server can update every week based on what people pick.

Foggy Willows is a server that really tries to be true vanilla. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no datapacks and no plugins. It feels like singleplayer but with other people.
The spawn is simple and not confusing. There are no long rules to read or fancy extras. Players are expected to handle their own problems with each other. You can play how you want and build what you want.
The server is always on the latest stable vanilla version. It has no world border and no teleport or sethome commands. There are no donations and it runs on a machine made just for hosting.
The difficulty is set to hard so the game is more challenging. Technical Minecraft players are welcome and there is a place for people who like to push the game and its mechanics.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that started on October 11th 2024 and it runs in New York City. It tries to feel like pure survival Minecraft with very few changes so it is close to normal vanilla.
You can join any time since the server is online 24 7. It supports Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they suggest using 1.21.10 so you do not run into weird issues.
The world border is huge at 2 million blocks so there is a ton of space to explore build hide and fight. There are no map resets no teleport commands and no pay to win at all. Griefing is allowed and PvP is also fully allowed so you always have to watch your back.
The only extra command they let you use is spawn so players far away are not stuck forever. They also allow nether roof access. Phantoms are removed so nights are a bit less annoying and only half the players need to sleep to skip the night.
They still have a few rules. You are not allowed to use exploits lag machines or duping. You also cannot spam or use harassment or racial slurs in chat. So it is wild gameplay but they still try to keep the chat and server performance under control.

This is a wild anarchy survival server called 1fighter2defenders or 1f2d. It has no rules at all and the world never resets.
People can grief build or cheat and all of that is allowed. There is no protection so you have to trust no one and watch your back all the time.
The server has been running since 2021 so the map is really old and full of history from thousands of players.
The main version is 1.21 but it also supports versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.10 so a lot of different clients can join in the chaos.

This server feels like old Minecraft and I kind of love it. It runs an iron based economy so iron is like the money here. You can use it to open your own shop and sell blocks you have a lot of.
You can also start your own village if you save up 300 iron. When you get your village your blocks get protected so griefers do not wreck your stuff. It makes building a base or a whole town way less scary.
There is a simple chest lock system too. If you put a sign on the front of your chest it locks and keeps your items safe. That is really good for new players who do not want to get robbed.
The server has a wiki voting page and a live map on the website so you can read about things and see what the world looks like. The whole thing just feels super retro and kind of nostalgic like older versions of Minecraft when stuff was more chill.
The community is small right now so it can feel lonely but that also means there is a lot of space for new players to join and start villages. If you want that old school Minecraft feeling and a simple survival world with an iron economy this server is pretty perfect.

This is a server that tries to be real vanilla survival with no shortcuts. There are no land claims and no teleport commands like tpa or home. You just play straight survival and walk or fly everywhere.
The world has been running since April 1st 2019 and the overworld has never been wiped. That means there is a lot of history and old builds to explore. You can find bases ruins and random projects from years of players.
Pvp and griefing are allowed so you have to be careful who you trust. There are no protected zones and no safe claims so your stuff is only as safe as your location and defenses. It feels risky but also exciting.
The server uses proximity voice chat if you install the Simple Voice Chat mod. It is optional but it makes it easier to talk and meet people around you.
The performance is kept stable and the anticheat is made to be simple and not annoying. It is there to stop cheaters without ruining the normal vanilla gameplay.
Overall it feels like classic survival Minecraft where players create the story and the world just keeps going with no resets.

You can grief and you can build and you can cheat. The owners say everything goes so you have to be ready for chaos and danger all the time. If you like safe and quiet this is not really it.
The server has been running since 2021 so it is over four and a half years old and thousands of players have joined at least once. That makes the world feel pretty old and lived in.
The main version is 1.21 but it also supports versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.10 so a lot of players can connect with different clients.
There is also a reddit community where people hang out and talk about the server. They have ways to contact staff if you need help but the actual gameplay is full anarchy.

This server is called 6b6t and it is made to feel like 2b2t but without the crazy queue. You can just join and play right away and that is actually really nice.
It allows cracked players and normal Java players and also Bedrock and MCPE players so pretty much anyone can get on. When I checked there were around 150 to 200 people online which makes the world feel busy and alive.
The world is anarchy so there are no real rules and people do whatever they want. You will see big ruined builds and random bases and lots of fighting. People raid and grief and it can be pretty wild.
There is also a community feeling even if it is kind of chaotic. The screenshots were taken at the RainGang community base so some groups of players work together and build stuff even in all the madness.
If you like dangerous survival with no queue and lots of players and you do not care about rules then 6b6t is a good place to try.

There are still some rules. You cannot use exploits or make lag machines or dupes. You also cannot spam chat or use harassment or racial slurs. Besides that players are mostly free to do what they want in this world.
