Alkaline Prisons is a bedrock prison server that is staying online for the long run. The owner basically made it a full time job and it really shows.
The server is almost fully custom coded. There are over 100 custom enchants you can put on your tools armor and swords plus the normal vanilla enchants. There are more than 70 kits that you unlock from prestige mining crates and quests so you always have something to grind for.
You get custom plots where you can make chest shops like old school servers. There are big private mines around 80 by 80 blocks so you can mine in peace. Nothing is pay to win or pay to play. It is made to feel fair for everyone.
The owner studied old pocket edition videos from like 2012 to 2016 to get that lifeboat style vibe back. Now a lot of bedrock servers feel like cash grabs but this one is more about people who actually care.
They use a suggestion section in their community and try to add almost every idea that makes sense. The owner wants to be super active with players kind of like the Stardew Valley developer. The goal is to make players happy and build a server that feels like people put their hearts into it.

This server feels like going back in time to when Minecraft was way more simple. It runs on version 1.13 and the owner is trying to copy the old console edition vibe.

Bone Voyage MC is a pirate themed SMP server that feels really cozy and welcoming. It has this nostalgia kind of survival where you just hop on and start playing with other people who actually talk and hang out.

The Pen is a classic prison server that feels like old school Minecraft. It is not an overpowered prison. You start with basic tools and leather armor and you actually have to grind to rank up.
You work through the ranks from A all the way up to Parolee and then Citizen. To make money you mine and smelt your ores and you have to walk through pvp zones to sell them in the commissary. There is no instant sell so the grind feels tough but fair. You can also earn cash by fishing growing illegal plants or running your own shop.
There are guards who watch the prison and they can take your contraband. Swords and potions are illegal. If a guard sees you with them they can pvp you and even send you to solitary confinement for bad behavior. It makes the whole place feel like a real prison with risk everywhere.
You can rent a prison cell or a prison plot to store items grow those special illegal plants or build a small base. Quests give extra money or special items and there are prestiges after you hit top rank so you can keep pushing further. There is also an auction house bounties on other players and parkour challenges all around the prison.
The server is mainly about that 2014 style grind and community. People are expected to survive fight and trade while the guards try to keep things under control.

Bone Voyage is a survival multiplayer RPG server that tries to feel like old 2012 SMP but with modern RPG stuff.
It focuses on keeping things simple and easy to understand. There is almost no learning curve so you can just join and play. The goal is still to build survive and thrive while using new systems that feel familiar.
The server has a custom economy with player shops custom currencies and player to player trading and auctions. There are hundreds of custom items and over 300 new enchantments so you can build your own style of character and grow your riches how you want.
There are tons of adventures and dungeons for 1 to 4 players. With EliteMobs you can explore new worlds get custom loot weapons armor and try a bunch of custom mechanics and areas. This is the most complex part of the server but it is fully optional so you can ignore it if you just want to chill.
Progression is based around both EliteMobs and MCMMO. No matter if you are fighting through dungeons with the Adventurer's Guild or mining under your base you are always working on your levels and not wasting xp.
The owners keep balancing and adding content and they plan to replace outside plugins with more custom stuff over time so the server keeps feeling fresh and made for the players.
