Many years ago, skyblock was the number one gamemode in minecraft. Now, it’s a wasteland. The few servers left are overly complex, have pointless features, have a /shop where everything can be bought for pennies, and only donors or the admin’s friends can get ahead.
Bountycraft fixes this. This is a classic-style skyblock server. Based largely on my experience playing Skyblock as a little kid a decade ago.
This server is authentic, simple and fair. Offering the skyblock plugin, the iconic original island, and chestshop for a player-run economy. That’s it.
There’s no pay-to-win, no endless spam, GUIs or tutorials, no flashy ranks, no admin shops that kill the economy, no kits, no crates, no spawned-in items, and so on. It’s not easy, everything has to done by the players themselves
Built by players who experienced skyblock at it’s best, for a new generation of islanders.
Bountycraft is a tribute and a successor to the golden-era of Skyblock servers. Skyblock as it’s meant to be.
It’s rustic and rough around the edges, that’s on purpose and how it should be. I’m hoping to create a chilled out, friendly environment, where you can be as competitive or casual as you want.
RULES -> No hacking, cheating, exploits, hateful language, bullying, toxicity… basically don’t be a prick. That pretty much covers it but more detailed rules can be found ingame. Fairness is going to be paramount on here, so you can be assured that players caught cheating will just be banned immediately.
NOTES ->> You cannot buy ANYTHING at spawn or an adminshop. If you want something, you have to get it yourself or find a player who will sell it to you. The economy is setup to be built and handled by the players themselves, you can make your own chestshops and there’s a place at the spawn for players to advertize their own private shops or businesses.> Mending enchants and Netherite upgrades are blocked. To restore classic-style gameplay, and to keep things interesting.> PvP is off by default, but each player can toggle it on/off if they want to PvP on an island.

HOW TO PLAY
After entering the server for the first time, you will find yourself in the lobby.Later, you can exchange useful items such as armor or building materials for experience points.
To start the game, enter one of the “Go to World” pressure plates.You are ready to go – explore the world and earn some experience points. Of course, you can earn these by the usual methods such as slaying monsters etc. You will also receive a new xp-level around every 10 seconds.
Now comes the exciting part – treacherous disasters will befall you from time to time. To stay alive, you can mine everything you find, take it with you and keep it – there are no griefing restrictions in the main world. Maybe you will even manage to build your own base with the resources?!
As soon as you die, you end up in the lobby and your entire inventory is deleted – except for your experience points! Use these to equip yourself better from the start and stay on track for longer. To get an item, simply click on the button in front of it – the levels of experience points you need are shown on the Redstone blocks.

Each microgame lasts four seconds at regular speed, and after a couple microgames the game speeds up resulting in the games becoming more difficult to complete. The game has a small chance to initiate a bonus round as well, to put a twist on the game and keep it interesting.
CraftWare allows you to earn points that you can spend using our brand new /points system. Some of these items including the famous Travel Medallion from Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, or the Hookshot from the classic Legend of Zelda games.

Our server has its own unique resource pack which you can download by directly joining our server and accepting the resource pack prompt. The pack will get updated every time an event comes around or when new items get added through one of our plugins. The resource pack is required as of June 23, 2023.
Our resource pack works properly without the use of OptiFine/CIT Resewn, but some of our custom items do require one of the two mods.

MoonDust is a server originally launched in 2016. Mostly comprised of my classmates, MoonDust began as a tight-knit community. This server has gone through many cycles since then, but Skyblock has always remained as its core.
Since its beginnings, MoonDust’s Skyblock has only expanded. Our Spawn, originally a 25-block wide circle, has expanded into a 500×500 adventure by my brother and I. The map is an ever-evolving world that embraces its history.
