EchelonMC is a custom survival world that is built from the ground up. It is not one of those copy paste servers. The owners use their own code and change stuff based on what players say.
The server is a custom SMP where you survive and build. There is a special path system where walking makes paths under your feet and you get speed when you use them and you can turn it off if you want. There is a currency called Echelites that you earn just by playing and you can spend it on progression and useful things.
Land claiming is more advanced here. You can see visual borders and change settings per chunk. There are tools that help stop griefing and control mobs TNT fire spread raids and even fluids. You can also make public chunks so other people can visit your builds. When people visit you can earn from it and try to climb rankings.
You can make teams invite friends and show off team nametags. Teams also get their own utilities. If you die there are graves that hold your items for a while and there is a back command to help you get to places after teleports.

This is a towny server that is actually alive and not laggy.
It runs Java and Bedrock and feels really smooth so fights and building do not stutter.

FallenRealms is a survival economy server that was private for a long time and now it is finally open. It is made for players who want a long term world and a strong money system instead of a quick throwaway map.
The main idea is a player driven economy. There is an admin shop to keep prices stable but most trading is between players. You can make chest shops and also use an auction house to sell rare items fast. There is a custom fishing system that has unique rewards and it is not just normal fishing with better loot tables.
You can claim land and protect towns and bases. Claims can get really big so groups can plan future builds and expansions. There is automation but it is balanced. This is a new Minecraft survival RPG server that is inspired by Solo Leveling. It is built around progression and grinding so you slowly feel stronger over time.
The server has gates and dungeon style portals where you go in and fight custom magic beasts. There is a class system so you can build your own style of character with RPG type progression.

This server is called Viking Factions OG and it is all about old school factions and 1.8 style combat but on a modern Minecraft version. It just had a fresh wipe so everyone is starting out at the same time.
