BonyaSMP is a new MMO style survival server where you can chill and still have a lot to do. It feels like a mix of normal survival and an RPG because you grind levels and abilities instead of just building and stopping there.
You can play as a cozy farmer and grow crops then sell them to make money and build up your own economy path. Or you can head into dungeons fight mobs and work for high tier loot if you like more action. Both styles work and you can swap whenever you feel like it.

This is a hardcore survival multiplayer server where everything is about staying alive as long as you can. When you die it actually matters and the whole world is built around that idea.
The world does not reset so every base and project can last as long as the player does. There is no pay to win stuff. The only rank is VIP and it is just cosmetic so it does not give any advantage in the game.
The server has a coin economy that is fully run by players. You do not buy normal items from admin shops. You earn coins by killing mobs and looting chests then use a trading system and an auction house to trade with other players.
There is a strong land claiming system so you can protect your base and farms from griefing. Your claims stay safe while you are offline but if you die your claims get deleted and your land becomes open again. This makes staying alive even more important.
Teleport commands are very limited. You get one time use of a random teleport so you can start in fresh terrain and there is a home command and a spawn command. There are no teleports to other players.
The server store also has a revive that is basically like starting over with a fresh account so you can play again after you lose your hardcore run without needing a new Minecraft account.

Alkaline Prisons is a bedrock prison server that is staying online for the long run. The owner basically made it a full time job and it really shows.
The server is almost fully custom coded. There are over 100 custom enchants you can put on your tools armor and swords plus the normal vanilla enchants. There are more than 70 kits that you unlock from prestige mining crates and quests so you always have something to grind for.
You get custom plots where you can make chest shops like old school servers. There are big private mines around 80 by 80 blocks so you can mine in peace. Nothing is pay to win or pay to play. It is made to feel fair for everyone.

This server is called Creative Central and it feels like someone has been planning it forever. The whole network is built around almost ten years of lore and worldbuilding that all fits together in the same canon.
There are two main game modes right now. On CC Plots you get a massive 512 by 512 creative plot. You get free WorldEdit and there are not many limits on blocks or commands. You can also use headdatabase and armorstandtools without paying so you can customize tiny details on builds and armor stands.
On CC Earth you play on a Towny server with a 1 to 500 scale Earth map. You can start a town claim land and use the economy to keep your town running. You can form nations with other players and grow your territory together. PvP is on in some parts of the world but it is not the main focus and it does not block your progress.

Bone Voyage MC is a pirate themed SMP server that feels really cozy and welcoming. It has this nostalgia kind of survival where you just hop on and start playing with other people who actually talk and hang out.

I found this Minecraft network that is pretty new and still in early launch. It is called NovaCraft Network and it focuses on fair progression and actually listening to players. It does not feel pay to win and it does not rely on weird gimmicks.
The main gamemode right now is Skyblock. It has balanced progression and a player driven economy. It seems made for both casual players who just want to chill and also for competitive players who like to grind and race ahead.

EchelonMC is a fully custom SMP that tries to feel different from all the usual copy paste survival servers. The owner uses custom coded features and listens to player feedback so the server keeps getting updated and changed.
The server has auto pathing that lets you create paths just by walking and you get a speed bonus when you use them. You can turn this on or off. There is a currency called Echelites that you earn just by playing and you can spend it on progression and utilities.
Land claiming is more advanced than normal. You can see visual borders and set things per chunk like anti grief options mob settings TNT fire spread raids and fluid protection. There are public chunks where people can publish their builds for others to visit and they can earn from visitors and climb rankings.

VitaNova SMP is a brand new survival world that just opened and it feels really fresh and clean. The server is focused on building a small community of players who want to play survival for a long time and not just hop in and out.
There is an economy so you can work to become really rich if you want. You can claim land using a lands style system so your builds and bases are protected. There are jobs you can do for money and there are skills you can level with AuraSkills so you feel like your character is actually progressing.

Chilltown SMP is a survival server that feels really relaxed but still has a challenge. It is made for people who like exploring and building cool bases without getting punished too hard when they mess up.

TitanMC is a classic style prison server that is starting Season X and it feels like a throwback to 2014.
The server brings back the original TitanMC features and then tweaks a bunch of stuff to make it more balanced for different types of players. It really pushes progression with 100 Prestiges. The first prestige even has its own special ward where you get a private cell block and your own mine.
Prestige milestones give really strong rewards and some can even beat any rank from the store. There is also a token shop system. Tokens cannot be bought and you only get them by playing. The token shop has everything from the store and extra items too.
The whole idea is to stop the server from being pay to win and let free players keep up if they put in the time. Crates are also not pay to win which matches that goal.
