Apathesia is a modded Geyser SMP that feels really chill and friendly. The server is a few months old and already has a small group of regular players who like to relax and just play together.
The server uses server sided mods to make the world generation look way better and to add quality of life features. It also has proximity voice chat so you can talk to people who are near you in game. Java players need to download the voice mod if they want to use it but it is not required to play.
There is no pay to win at all. No gambling stuff no crates no silly shop menus. The owner says they do not over moderate and they just want a calm and welcoming place to hang out.
There is also a Stardew Valley sister server which is pretty cool if you like that game too. If you want to join you read the info and rules then you can get on the whitelist with a quick auto process.
