The big twist is the health system. Every time you die you lose one heart down to a minimum of three hearts. You can craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block to get one heart back. You can even go past ten hearts up to twenty. Those extra hearts are temporary and they disappear as you take damage.
It is not an anarchy server so stealing and griefing are not allowed. The server also has optional proximity voice chat plus cross chat between Discord and in game. They use custom plugins that they made themselves for land claiming towns and the player mall. These are only to protect builds and manage towns and shops and they do not change the basic vanilla gameplay.

The server just had a world reset after about six months. So everyone is starting over again at the same time. This makes it a good moment to join if you like an even start with other players.
Most of the trading here is done with player shops and a player run item economy. There is a market district where people build shops for pretty much anything. There is also a shared community spawn with farms and helpful stuff that players can use.
