Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to feel like pure vanilla survival with almost no rules. It opened on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time on a strong host in New York City.
You can join on almost any Java version from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10. The server recommends 1.21.10 so things do not break. There is a huge world border that goes out to 2 million blocks so you can travel super far and hide your base.
The server does not reset the map and there is no teleporting and no pay to win at all. Griefing and PvP are fully allowed so you have to be careful who you trust. The only extra command is spawn so players far away can get back to other people. Nether roof access is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the players need to sleep to skip the night.
Even with the anarchy style there are a few rules. You cannot use exploits or lag machines or duping. You also cannot spam or harass people or use racial slurs in chat. Other than that the server just lets players do what they want in survival.
If you like risky survival and long term worlds with very few limits this server feels really good.

This is a pretty new Minecraft server that is trying to stay as close to real vanilla as possible. When you join you appear in a small safe zone. You get invis and regen and some starter items so you can escape spawn and head out into the wild.
The server is hardcore mode so if you die you get banned for a while. It is not just a quick respawn. You actually have to be careful and think before you fight or jump into caves. There is no tpa or home and there are no ranks or pay to win stuff. It is just plain survival with real risk.

This is a modded SMP called Bagelverse that is running All The Mods 10 and it feels really crazy and fun. It has a mix of tech magic and total chaos so you can build huge power setups or weird labs or just chill on a farm.
The pack is All The Mods 10 version 5.4 on Neoforge 1.21.1 and there are over 450 mods so there is always something new to do. The server gives you useful commands like back home and tpa right away so it is easier to explore and play with friends.
The server is mainly PvE and there is no pay to win which is nice. They only take donations so players feel more equal and it is more about the community and not about buying ranks. People there seem mixed with relaxed farmers plus hardcore factory players so you can pick any style and still fit in.

HollowSMP is a Survival plus server that feels like a chill long term world. It runs on Java 1.21.10 and also lets Bedrock players join so more friends can play together.
The gameplay is mostly normal survival with some quality of life stuff. Spawn is protected and it gives healing and food so new players can get started without getting wrecked. There is anti grief and anti cheat so people cannot just ruin your builds.
The server has built in proximity voice chat so you can actually talk to people who are near you in game. There are tabs and leaderboards and good moderation tools but there is no pay to win which makes it feel fair.
