CubeCadia is a survival server that feels like classic Minecraft but with a bunch of cool extra systems. It runs an enhanced SMP style world where you still mine and build and explore but you also get custom jobs with abilities and upgradeable spawners. This is a vanilla anarchy server with no rules at all. There are no exploits patched and it only uses the official server jar files.
Right now it runs on snapshot 12w19a. The server can update every week and the version is decided by a vote.
The plan is to go through every official server version including snapshots and the april fools versions. If you like pure chaos and old versions this place is for you.

This is a Bedrock realm called Impact SMP that I found and it looks like a chill place to play.
It is a survival world with a free roaming storyline. That means players can just play and kind of make their own story with their friends instead of being forced to follow a strict plot.
The realm is made for kids and teens who are between 11 and 15 years old. So everyone is around the same age and it feels more comfortable to talk and play together.
The owners are trying to invite more members so the world feels more alive. If you like survival and hanging out with other people your age this realm seems like a good spot to join and start your own story.

I found this server called Everbloom SMP Network and it has two different ways to play so it feels like you can pick what you like.
The Everbloom Survival side is more intense. The season starts on 13th December and it has full farming and redstone support. You can also use the nether roof. PvP is on and raiding is allowed so you always have to watch your base. There is a 75k world border and only diamond gear is used and there are no maces so it stays pretty balanced.
The Everbloom Casual SMP is for people who just want to chill and build or explore. There is no PvP no griefing and no raiding at all. It has custom terrains and structures but still keeps a vanilla feel. You can build farm and create with other friendly players.
The whole place feels relaxed and wholesome and the community is focused on creativity and cooperation. It is good if you want either a peaceful survival world or a more risky raiding style world in the same network.

MendedSMP is a new survival world that feels really active. There are already a bunch of players and some streamers who play together. It feels like a place where people actually talk and hang out instead of just grinding alone.
The server is an economy style SMP. There are a lot of plugins but the game still feels like normal Minecraft survival. Right now the world is basically vanilla and it only started a few days ago so you are not super far behind.
Nether and End are locked for about a week so everyone gets a fair start. This makes early game feel more balanced and fun because people are still building up gear and bases in the overworld.
There is a lively discord where people are active every day and use voice chat a lot. The server works on Java Bedrock and Pocket Edition so it is easy to join from different devices.

This server is called Apathesia and it feels like a chill little modded survival world.
The server is not cracked and it is a bit over a month old. There is already a regular group of friendly players and they just want a few more people to fill things out.
It uses server side mods to make the world generation look way better and to add some quality of life stuff. There is proximity voice chat too so you can talk to people near you in game. You do not have to download any mods to join because everything runs on the server side. The only download you might want is for voice chat and that is only needed if you are on Java and want to use it.
The vibe is very relaxed. They do not have microtransactions or gambling or crates or anything like that. They also try not to over moderate and just be generally chill.

Hydro SMP is a long term vanilla survival world that feels really stable and safe. The server stays fully vanilla but uses some performance mods and staff tools so it runs super smooth and griefing gets stopped fast.

Back2Basics SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels really chill and simple. It started in December 2023 and now has new ownership. The whole idea is to keep Minecraft feeling pure but add a few tweaks that make survival more fun and fair.
There is a player driven economy where you can buy sell and trade using in game currency. You can earn stuff by exploring doing events or just being smart with trading. There is also a cosmetic store but the cool part is you can earn the perks and rewards in game and you do not need your wallet.
The server uses custom lightweight plugins to keep things smooth. Keep inventory is on so if you die to a mob or another player you keep your gear. Mubian World is a vanilla style SMP with a worldborder that is 5000 by 5000 so everyone stays pretty close together. It feels like a small world where you can actually meet other players and see what they build.
