This server is a hardcore world where you only get one life and if you die you are gone forever. It is built to feel mostly like normal vanilla but with a few tweaks that make hardcore more fun.
The map never resets so everything you build or break actually stays. Your bases ruins and battles all stay in the world so what you do really matters.

I found this server called Eden and it is like a giant social experiment in Minecraft. The whole idea is to see if players can make a working society without any admin stepping in to fix stuff.
The world has real scarcity. There are no admin shops that bail you out. Resources can actually run out and even crops are locked to certain biomes. So if you want a big factory or base you need a real supply chain that goes across the map.
Protecting your base is not some magic claim command. You have to reinforce blocks with materials so breaking in costs time and resources. Raids and wars feel like actual sieges and not just someone typing a command.
