    Apathesia is a whitelisted SMP that runs on 1.21.11 and it is modded Fabric with Geyser so Java players and Bedrock and console players can all join.

    The main vibe is that it is fully against money stuff. There is no economy and no crates and no ranks and no FOMO tricks. They also say no resets so your work is not getting wiped for hype.

    The mods are server sided only so you do not need to download anything. The world gen is upgraded with Terralith Stellarity Towns and Towers and Incendium so exploring feels way less boring.

    It also has QoL commands like rtp in a 20k radius plus home tpa and spawn. There is trade and mail and chest locking. They also have small cozy extras like crouch hearts sit hat and even chess.

    They say no world border and no over moderation. Trading stalls are player run and still with no currency. All ages are welcome but you have to act mature and any hate speech harassment or cheating gets handled right away.

    MinedHype Long-Term Vanilla SMP

    MinedHype is a friendly long term public survival server that has been run by the same owner for 6 years. It started back in 1.14 and it has had over 19400 unique players join.

    It feels mostly vanilla and it runs on Minecraft 1.21.11. There is no pay to win and there is no money economy plugin so trading is done with player run shops using item trades.

    You can protect your builds with claims and CoreProtect is used to help protect the server too. Grief is allowed if you did not claim the area so you should claim your stuff.

    The Overworld and Nether are meant to stay long term and they will not be reset. There is no set world border or spawn and players spawn randomly within the first 40k blocks. You can also use rtp to go within 50k blocks and then set a home.

    Java and Bedrock players can play together. There is a web map you can use and chat reports are disabled. There are free events with prizes and a public shopping district where people can apply for a shop.

    Griefing and raiding are fully allowed so if someone finds your base they can take your stuff. There are no land claims or protected zones so you build at your own risk.

    Hacking and x ray are banned and the server tries to keep fights fair. There is no economy stuff no vote crates and no pay to win.

    It runs on version 1.21.11.

    LegacyMC is a vanilla anarchy survival server that goes for the raw classic feel. It is a true open world where you do what you want and the world keeps your choices.

    There are no rules and no resets. PvP is on and griefing and raiding are allowed. There are no land claims and no teleporting. It also says there is no admin interference so players control the story.

    The server started in June 2025 so it is still early for people who want to leave a mark. It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Australia to keep ping low for Australia and New Zealand players. There is no monetisation and no pay to win and it is cost covered so donations are not required and will not be requested.

    Anyone can join since there is no whitelist and it says there are no applications no queues and no restrictions. You just log in and play and try to survive the chaos.

    Apathesia is a friendly SMP on 1.21.11 that has been running for about 3 months. It is not cracked and it has a chill group of regular players but they want a few more people to join.

    It is modded but the mods are server sided so you do not need to download anything just to play. The server focuses on way better world generation and useful quality of life stuff and also proximity voice chat. Voice chat is optional but Java players need a download if they want to use it.

    The vibe is relaxed with no mtx and no gambling and no crate stuff. It also tries to avoid over moderation and keep things simple.

    There is also a new Stardew Valley sister server now.

    I found a brand new community SMP that is semi vanilla and focused on fair play. It is whitelist only and it is 18+ only so the vibe is more mature.

    There are no ranks and no donor perks. There is no server shop either so the economy is more player driven with diamonds as the main currency. There are also no teleport shortcuts so travel and building roads actually matters.

    The server uses ValhallaMMO and ValhallaTrinkets so you can get deeper progression while still feeling like survival. The world uses Terralith generation so the terrain should feel fresh. Players can run shops with Shopkeepers and rent market space with AdvancedRegionMarket.

    There is Bluemap for viewing the world and Bell Claims for land claiming. Phantoms are disabled. The End has a weekly Ender Dragon respawn and the dragon is reworked into a multi phase raid boss fight. Changes are driven by community feedback and polls.
