They use a small set of plugins like renewable elytra from the ender dragon fight a simple chest shop system with a currency that you can swap with diamonds and night can be skipped when just one player sleeps.
The community is really into building. There are huge skyscrapers cozy villages and also big farms like iron farms and raid farms. On the nether roof there is a transport hub with blue ice boat paths so traveling between bases feels fast and smooth.
There is no land claim plugin but they use CoreProtect to keep track of blocks items and entities.
