Minecraft Vanilla is a survival SMP that tries really hard to stay like classic Minecraft. It is about building and surviving with other players and letting the world get shaped by what people actually do.
There are no teleports so you will not see /home or /tpa. There are no kits and no perks and no scripted towns. There are also no land claims so the server uses CoreProtect to track griefing and they say punishments are strict.
You can use optional proximity voice chat with Simple Voice Chat. Players can make their own clans villages and cities without a plugin running everything.
The server is EU based. To join you link your account with /link then send the code to their bot and request whitelist access then answer a few questions.

I found a server called Trotuserver and it feels like a vanilla world with geopolitics. The big thing is there are no map resets so your builds can stay for the long run.
There are no land claim stuff and no teleporting. It is more about traveling and living with what you build. People make towns and nations and you can join old ones or new ones or start your own.
The server has been around for about 7 years so the world has history. It is a good place for big projects and worldbuilding and also roleplay if you like that.
