It supports crossplay between Java and Bedrock Edition but Java is recommended for the best experience. The rules are strict about no hacking and no griefing and no stealing and no nonconsensual PvP.
The community is meant to be close knit and they shut down toxicity and drama fast. People are encouraged to make community projects like towns and shopping areas and there are sometimes events with prizes.
It is not pay to win and store items can be earned through gameplay. Ranks are earned by saving in game money and money comes from stuff like jobs and milestones and tasks or running your own shop.
