This is a vanilla SMP called GOOMB and it is running a brand new season with amplified terrain. The world just got reset about two weeks ago so everyone is still building up their bases and the server feels really active and new.
There is a 6k by 6k world border so players end up building pretty close to each other or teaming up. Later the border will get bigger so people can spread out more and start different plans and projects. It makes the start feel like a real community because you actually see your neighbors.

Spugunke is a new semi vanilla SMP that is all about community and long term survival. The world just started so early players get to shape how everything looks and feels.
The server is focused on player made towns and teams. You can build a town or join one and work on shared bases farms and huge projects. Some teams might focus on pvp or exploration or grinding resources. If you like playing alone that is fine too. The server supports both competitive and relaxed play styles.
Rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. Pvp is only allowed when everyone agrees so fights are organized and not chaotic. Town or team battles can still happen if both sides want it.
Spawn is supposed to become a shared community area with player builds and places to hang out. People are social and often play at the same time and sit in voice calls while they mine and build so it feels like a real group.

This server is all about long term survival with no grief and no world reset. The goal is to keep the world going for many years so people can build big projects and come back after long breaks without losing anything.

ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP where people care more about building and stories than rushing the end of the game. The server is made for long term play and the world is not planned to reset so everything you build and all the history actually matters.
The map is split into two zones. In the Green Zone around spawn you play with no pvp and no stealing or griefing. It is all about towns trading and shared lore. In the Red Zone farther out pvp is on and stealing is allowed so you can have battles and tension but still no griefing. This keeps bases and builds safe while still letting people fight for fun and story.
