This is a private survival server that feels really relaxed and calm. It is called BuildCraft and it is a whitelisted SMP so people apply before they join. The world is new and still early game but there are already some farms like iron and food so you are not totally starting from nothing.
The server is mostly vanilla but there are some small quality of life things. There is multiplayer sleep so nights are easier. There is voice chat and some discord stuff so people can talk and hang out. Enderman grief is turned off and fire is disabled so builds are safer. There is also a mini blocks mod that lets you decorate in fun ways.
The players are chill and like trying new things. You can be a builder or a technical player or just someone who likes normal survival. Everyone on the server is at least 18 and some are in their 20s or 30s so it has more of an adult vibe.
It looks like a good place if you want a calm long term SMP where people work together and slowly build up a world.
