This is a modded geopolitical server where players make nations start wars and do diplomacy instead of just rushing each other.
Fights are mainly about npc soldiers using the Villager Recruits mod so it is more like strategy and army control and less about sweaty vanilla pvp. You cannot just teleport over defenses or crystal pvp or fly over walls so you actually have to plan your attacks and defenses.
The current map is based on the lands around the North Sea like Norway France and the British Isles with a middle ages vibe but you do not have to stick to the theme if you do not want to. The world gets reset when activity dies and the themes swap between historical and sci fi which also changes the modpack.
Right now the modpack has stuff like Create Farmer style mods npc recruits ships armor weapons siege machines and more so the world feels alive and detailed. You can run a big nation command armies roleplay as a famous ruler or just own a small shop inside someone else’s nation.
Claims are handled on a map run by staff so borders are clear and enforced. The server feels like it is made for people who like building stories worlds and wars that are more about strategy than who clicks faster.

This is a lifesteal semi vanilla server that is built around fair PvP and strict rules. You can steal hearts but there is a max of 20 and crafted hearts cannot go above 10 so fights feel way more balanced.
Combat has a bunch of limits so gear and skill actually matter. You cannot combat log and you are not allowed to kill new players at spawn or trap them there. No elytras in fights and no crystal bed or respawn anchor PvP. Only TNT minecarts are allowed and even they do less damage.
There is a long list of banned or restricted stuff. No netherite armor or tools no ender pearls no totems no punch bows and no riptide tridents. Some debuff potions are also banned like weakness poison harming and slow falling. Protection is capped at prot 3 and sharpness is capped at sharp 4 so no one can stack crazy broken gear.
The coolest part is the mace. Only one mace exists on the entire server and it cannot be put in chests or other containers so someone always has it on them. It also cannot have density or wind burst so it does not get totally busted.
Cheating is not allowed at all. No hacking no exploits no duping and no lag machines. Health indicators and Xaeros Minimap are not allowed but string duping is okay. The server has active moderation events challenges and competitions and it feels focused on a fair community where PvP is skill based and the late game stays balanced.

This is a hardcore anarchy server with a bunch of weird experiments going on. The world keeps changing and it actually feels like the server itself is playing back at you. The world border started tiny and grows over time so new places slowly show up and new stuff keeps getting discovered.
When someone finally got to the end a destruction timer started and after that the end just got shut off. The owner keeps adding different world events that limit or unlock things so the game never really feels normal. There are custom structures out in the world with loot and clues and some story hints and sometimes danger too.
The server is hardcore so if you die you are done. But you do not just get kicked forever. You become a ghost locked near your own head. You can float around in that area but not go inside the ground. Other players can bring you back if they find special revival spots as the border grows. They need your head and a bunch of materials to pay the cost so it really helps to have friends.
The play style is anarchy with rules against hacks and exploits. Griefing is allowed. Killing is allowed. Stealing is allowed. Your actions have consequences and the world reacts to what players do.
