Pea SMP feels like classic Minecraft survival where you just live in the world and figure things out. There are no teleports and no land claims so travel matters and builds feel more like singleplayer.
It supports crossplay for Java and Bedrock and it runs on versions 1.7x through 1.21.11. You can form teams and invite friends and staff are active in both Minecraft and Discord.
PvP is allowed but it has rules so it does not turn into griefing. New players get one day of PvP protection unless they disable it. Maces are banned and destructive PvP like crystals and TNT stuff is not allowed. Hacks exploits harassment slurs stealing and base griefing are not allowed either.
