Potcor is a semi vanilla survival server with roleplay and lore stuff that started on October 25th and it is still going. It is mainly a Java server but it also lets Bedrock players join and it even supports cracked players.
The server is hosted in Asia and most players are from the Philippines. The world has a 25000 by 25000 border so there is a lot of space to explore. It runs on version 1.21.11 and they say anyone can join.
Some items are disabled like end crystals respawn anchors elytra and netherite. There is also a limit of two maces per player. It is still vanilla style though so you have free will to do your own thing.
The rules are simple. Do not grief unless it is justified or important to the lore. Do not make overkill farms. No cheats and be civil.

RedLine Smp is a new survival world that is all about pvp and building. It just opened recently so players are still getting geared up and the end is not open yet. The border is 12k so there is a lot of space to explore and to hide your base.
The server uses simple voice so people can talk in game. There are custom recipes that make the mace more expensive and later spears and maybe more items will change too. There are plugins like G Sit player head drops InvisibleKill and some basic server plugins.
The rules are pretty strict about cheating. No hacking no freecam no duping and some exploits are banned. Raiding and stealing are allowed so you always have to watch your chest room. In pvp there are banned items like end crystals anchors netherite armor and weapons and fireworks. Combat logging is not allowed either so fights actually matter.
Because of the bans the main kits end up being diamond smp style gear tnt minecarts elytra wind charge and mace and later spears. You can also make your own setups as long as they follow the rules. This server is called sVanilla Survival and it is all about old school survival and sword pvp. It has been around since 2019 and the whole idea is no cheating and real pvp raiding where only the strong survive.
The combat here is focused on melee so crystals and anchors are disabled. They patched things like breach swapping and there is a combat tag system. You cannot use elytra in combat and totems have an eight second cooldown so fights feel more fair and skill based.
The world is big with a large overworld plus nether and end so you can go far away to build or stay close to spawn for more action. The map does not reset so anything you build can stay there for a long time.
There are some quality of life commands like teleport ignore and sethome but the server still feels very close to vanilla. The economy has no plugins and is based on trading with other players. TNT dupers with pistons and slime are allowed so you can make farms or massive destruction machines.
