OwenoSMP is a small Java SMP that is all about chill vibes building and hanging out with other people. It feels relaxed and the point is to play survival without a bunch of stress.
The server runs on Paper and it is semi vanilla. You can claim land to protect your builds and you can use sethome so getting back is easy. There is also voice chat available and image maps are supported.
The server is officially opening Saturday the 14th at 5 30 GMT and everyone starts fresh. The owner streams on the server a lot around 5 to 6pm GMT and players sometimes join while they are live. I found a server called Gaia Legends and it is super new like about a week old. Even with a low player base it feels really polished and well setup.
It is semi vanilla and it has custom items plus jobs and other extra stuff. The cool part is it is easy to understand and everything feels simple to use in game.
There are crates but it does not feel pay to win. It sounds like you can get the crate stuff just by playing normally.
