Meraki SMP is a new Towny geopolitical server where the main vibe is diplomacy and trade instead of nonstop fighting. It is launching next week and the whitelist is getting removed.
You can claim land and start a town then grow it into a real civilization. Towns can work together to form nations and make alliances and treaties. You can also join international groups that can change what happens in the world.
Each town can survey for up to four different resources and get daily production. There are also sites that produce key resources and towns can battle over those with TownyCaptureSites. Towns can always choose to stay neutral but Siege War and Event War are there if they want to go to war.
The economy is based on normal play like mining chopping trees and killing mobs plus events and contests. For trading there are player made shops with VillagerMarket and QuickShop-Hikari. Villager trades are disabled and there are no admin shops so it stays player driven.
The overworld uses Terra generation so the land looks epic for building. There is also a BlueMap you can use to see the world.
It also has stuff to make the grind easier like Veinminer SmartSpawners AuraSkills and ClickMobs. For extra fun there is The Brewery Project BetterHorses DiscordSRV and Better Faster Happy Ghasts.
