Campfire SMP is a small 18 plus server that wants to last for years and not just a few weeks. The world started in September 2025 and the goal is to never reset. It is semi vanilla with a whitelist so it feels like a real survival world and not a minigame hub.
The server runs on Purpur 1.21.9 and is self hosted 24 7 in Las Vegas. There are some plugins and data packs that add quality of life and admin tools but it still feels like normal survival. There is no tpa or home so you actually travel and build roads and nether tunnels.
The world border is 20k by 20k so there is lots to explore and it will grow with big updates. Players have already built a shopping district with a diamond based economy plus nether highways a battle arena and a Christmas area. There is also a map you can look at and simple voice chat so people can talk while they play.
Most people on the server are in their 20s and some are in their 30s and 40s. Players hang out in voice chat a lot working on projects playing other games or just talking. It feels like a chill long term community where everyone is welcome as long as they are 18 plus and want a relaxed survival world.

This is a new Minecraft world that is only a few days old and it is made for adults who are 18 or older. Most players are in their 20s but there are older players too. It feels really relaxed and people just hang out and build cool stuff.
The rules are simple and easy to follow. No griefing. No stealing. No PvP unless everyone says it is ok. Because of that the server feels safe and your builds will not get ruined.
The server is survival in hard mode and it is semi vanilla. There are a few plugins but you can turn them off if you want to play more like normal vanilla. People usually work on their own bases but they are close enough that neighbors are welcome if you ask.
The community likes to help each other. Players are happy to trade or share items if you need something or are just starting out. Every world they usually make a nether hub and a shopping district too. The world is still very new so those things are not ready yet but they are planned.
