    MCVerse is a no grief server made for long term building and taking breaks without coming back to a mess. It is a classic survival grind with a no reset plan and a big 10 year goal.

    The gameplay stays close to vanilla with no custom items enchants or skills. There are player markets if you want to skip the grind or you can do everything the slow way.

    Chat is kept clean with low tolerance for swearing and public chat is meant for Minecraft and gaming talk. It feels like playing single player but with neighbors if you want to trade and team up.

    The main survival world is permanent and it has claims a map markets clans and stuff like fishing contests. There is also a hardcore vanilla server with no grief and extra biome scaling plus an inspect tool. If you want simple vanilla there is a smaller world option and there are creative plots for testing and building ideas.

    Events are player driven and the community is a mix of ages from teens to older adults. Pale Gardens have been generated into the main world and the vibe is more chill than rushed.

    CaliCraft is a player run democracy server based out of California where you can actually shape what happens. Every two weeks players elect an Emperor and that person can make real choices for the server.

    The Emperor can add or remove plugins across gamemodes. They can make laws and even imprison people for any reason including staff. If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die or getting dragged there in handcuffs if you are caught. The Emperor has to follow the Constitution but they can make temporary laws during their reign and some laws can become permanent through a 3 day Discord poll.

    There is a lobby that sends you into different gamemodes fast. Modded Survival has custom enchantments plus skills and jobs plus an economy and auction house and custom dungeons and vote crates with strong gear. Vanilla Survival has QOL stuff like quests chest sorting and daily rewards. Skyblock is classic with extra addons.

    They also run Cobblemon on a separate Fabric server so you need the Cobblemon modpack to play it. The server has custom content too like a custom resource pack with unique mobs animals elites and dungeon bosses with special drops.

    It supports versions 1.17.1 to 1.21.10 and it works on Java and Bedrock.

    CaliCraft is a player run server based out of California where you can actually shape what happens. It feels like survival mixed with politics because players vote for an Emperor every two weeks and that person gets real power.

    The Emperor can add or remove plugins across gamemodes and make laws and even imprison people for any reason. If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die or get dragged back in handcuffs if you get caught. There is a Constitution they have to follow but they can also make temporary laws. Some laws can become permanent through a 3 day Discord poll.

    There is a lobby first and it helps you jump into different gamemodes fast. The server has Modded Survival with custom enchantments skills jobs an auction house an economy custom dungeons and vote crates with gear. It also has Vanilla Survival with quests chest sorting and daily rewards plus Skyblock with extra addons.

    There is also a Cobblemon server on a separate Fabric setup so you need the Cobblemon modpack to play it. The server supports versions from 1.17.1 to 1.21.10.

    I found a Minecraft network project that is trying to bring back a classic style server setup. The goal is to have a hub that connects to different game modes so it feels like one big place.

    It is planned to include factions and survival and prisons. The person making it has hosted SMP before but this time they want linked servers like a real network.

    This is a big remake project and they are trying to get it finished by the end of the year.

    This is a brand new Minecraft network that just launched and it is looking for a founding community. Everything is fresh so leaderboards are empty and all land is still unclaimed.

    The main mode is Lifesteal where you get hearts by killing other players and losing them makes every fight super risky. There is also Towny so you can build big towns and empires and use diplomacy or go to war with other groups.

    They have an Earth mode with a 1 to 1500 scale map of the real world so you can claim your own country. There is normal Survival for players who just want a classic SMP style world and also Skyblock where you start on a tiny island and build it up.

    The owners say they use strong hardware so there should be zero lag. Since the server is new you can grind to the top of the leaderboards and maybe even become staff later. They are also taking suggestions a lot so players can help shape how the network grows.

    More modes like Gens and Prisons Bedwars Dungeons and Factions are being worked on right now but not out yet.

    You can go to a survival world with the slash server survival command. If you like building anything you want you can go to a creative world with slash server creative. If you like the game how it was meant to be you can go to a vanilla world with slash server vanilla.

    I like that it just gives you the three main styles and lets you choose. It feels like you can hop between them depending on your mood. The community hangs out on their discord and the server feels like it is made for people who just want to play Minecraft in different ways without a bunch of extra stuff.

    If you want survival creative and vanilla in one place this server does that.

    CoreRealms is a small Minecraft network that is trying to grow and it has a few really different gamemodes you can swap between any time using the hub commands.

    The Hardcore mode is a fully scripted hardcore experience. If you die you get flagged as dead and thrown back to the lobby so every fight and every jump actually matters. There are custom systems and restrictions that make it feel like a real hardcore challenge.

    MaceGens is all about generator based pvp progression. You mine ores that keep regenerating forever then trade those ores for coins at the shop. With the coins you buy pvp gear and go fight other players. There are high risk areas where pvp is always on and there is no protection so you are never really safe.

    DupeIllegals is a crazy fast dupe style mode. You can duplicate items build huge bases and mess around in a more chaotic way. You get illegal items from events and distributions and then you just see what kind of wild stuff you can do.

    The server is being updated a lot with new features and changes based on what the community wants so things do not feel stale and there is usually something new to try.

    This server is called PGMC World and it is all about picking how you want to play.
