Parasitus is a modded Java apocalypse server with a modern horror vibe. You spawn inside a government Quarantine Zone called Alpigus and the whole thing feels like a ticking timer.
For the first 7 days everyone is trapped behind the wall while the grid is still stable. When the power fails the wall opens and the Nether unlocks and you can craft Ender Eyes.
After that the server hits Grid Failure Protocol Orion and a nuke drops inside the wall and wipes everything in the zone. If you do not escape before that happens you are basically done for.
It is not hardcore and there is land claim to stop griefing and PVP. The claim does not stop stealing and you can toggle PVP in claims with commands. The goal is to survive the early days then build a real base outside the walls while the parasite threat keeps growing.
