The world gen is custom and it uses Regions Unexplored with big terrain and continents and islands. There are also more structures like better dungeons and strongholds and mineshafts plus cooler caves so exploring stays interesting.

Gilded Abyss is a modded SMP that is starting up Season 2 on February 7th at 6:30 PM. This season is going for a medieval era vibe and it is meant to feel like a story that builds over time.
When you join you will slowly get placed into one of two groups. Both sides get daily tasks as the server keeps moving forward. The End stays closed at first and it opens after one full week then there is an event.
