Season 3 just started and the server runs community events where you can win in game prizes. Some prizes can be valuables like Nether stars and there are also custom items.
The server has custom biomes plus custom food and crops and quality of life plugins. There is also a rewards system and the seasons are not super long. Minecraft chat can link with Discord using a bot named Jimmy.
