This server is called BareBonesMP and it has a special Hardcore Plus world with custom health. Every time you die you lose one heart and you can go all the way down to only 3 hearts. To get your hearts back you have to craft a Heart Crystal with an echo shard and a diamond block.
If you use a Heart Crystal you restore one heart and you can even go above the normal 10 hearts up to 20 hearts. These extra hearts are temporary. When you take damage the extra hearts disappear first and you will not get them back unless you use another Heart Crystal.
The Hardcore Plus world is basically vanilla. There are no teleport commands and all normal block damage is turned on like fire spread and creeper explosions. Stealing and griefing are not allowed so it is not an anarchy server.
There is also a main vanilla SMP server and the community has been around since 2019. People say it feels like a classic hermitcraft style server and it is whitelisted and close knit. There are community events every weekend and mayor elections every month.
The server has an active discord and a dedicated machine so it runs with no lag. It uses a few quality of life plugins like sleep tweaks and leaderboards and stuff like that. This is a survival server that feels really old school. It was started in 2020 when the owner and some friends wanted Minecraft to feel simple again. A lot of servers had confusing plugins and land claim systems and it ruined the basic survival vibe. On this server you just play normal survival without claim blocks or weird menus.
The world runs on hard difficulty so it is actually a challenge. Mobs hit hard and you have to think before you go out at night. This is a really old school factions server that feels like the old days. It runs on Minecraft 1.8.9 and the combat is the classic jitter click style. There are no crazy menus and no huge walls of text when you join. It is just you your faction and the map.
The main thing here is hardcore raiding. People build TNT cannons and blast through obsidian to steal loot. Spawn is a total warzone. There is no safezone at all. When you join you spawn straight into danger. You have to run fast gear up and escape before someone hunts you down.

This server is a hardcore world where you only get one life and if you die you are gone forever. It is built to feel mostly like normal vanilla but with a few tweaks that make hardcore more fun.
