Foggy Willows is a real vanilla survival server for people who want Minecraft the normal way. It runs on the official vanilla jar with no extras so it feels like singleplayer but with other players.
The spawn is not some giant confusing hub and you do not have to read a long story to start playing. You just join and go do your thing.
It is hard mode and there is no teleport or sethome stuff. There is also no world border so you can keep walking and building.
The server is self hosted on a purpose built machine and it stays on the latest stable vanilla version. They also say there are no donations and players are expected to handle their own social problems.
