MangoSMP is a survival server that never resets. The world is meant to last forever so your base and farms and big builds are safe. There are no wipes and no new seasons that delete all your stuff.
The community feels really friendly and active. The staff actually play on the server and help people instead of just sitting around. Right now they are running a Winter Build Contest where you make something with a winter theme. You can win gift cards for the store and get a custom flashy rank or title if you do well.
The server has land claims so your builds do not get griefed. There are cosmetics so you can look cool without being pay to win. There are player shops and warps and also a separate resource world so the main world does not get destroyed.

This is a vanilla survival server that is trying to feel like Hermitcraft but for regular players. Season 5 is starting on December 5 and it is meant to last a long time so people can actually finish mega bases and big projects.
The server is on hard mode and there is a 20k world border with a softer limit at 10k so chunks do not get out of control. The End has an infinite border and it gets reset sometimes so you can keep getting resources. If you build something cool there you can ask the admins to save it before a reset.
Right now they are in a scouting phase. You can log in before the reset just to explore the world with the seed they gave and pick where you want to live when season 5 starts. The world will be wiped when the season launches so this is just for planning and claiming spots.
The server uses a custom resource pack with custom textures and models so you need to use that to play. Performance settings are set to a render distance of 10 and sim distance of 8 so the server runs smooth.
They are looking for active and mature players and it is whitelist only. It sounds like they want people who will stick around for the whole season and help make a chill and stable community.
