This is a hardcore modded SMP where you only get one life. If you die you are banned forever so every fight actually matters. It feels really intense and kind of scary in a fun way.
The server uses Origins so everyone has a special playstyle with real strengths and weaknesses. Combat is very medieval with different weapons like spears and warhammers and they all work differently. There are a ton of custom bows too so ranged players can do ambushes and sniping.
There is proximity voice chat so you hear people only when they are close. That makes alliances betrayals and surprise attacks feel way more real. This is a modded geopolitical server called Globe++ and it runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. The whole idea is to build nations start wars and do diplomacy with other players.
