Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy server that tries to feel like real vanilla survival but with almost no rules. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it runs all day and night.
You can join with a lot of different Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11. The owner recommends playing on 1.21.10 so you do not run into weird problems.
The world border is huge at 2 million blocks in each direction so there is tons of space to explore build and hide. There are no map resets so whatever you build or destroy stays there for the long run.
This server allows griefing and PvP and there is no pay to win at all. There is no teleporting either except for a simple spawn command so players really far away can return to civilization. Nether roof travel is allowed. Phantoms do not spawn and only about half the players online need to sleep to skip the night.
The rules are pretty light. Exploits lag machines duping and spamming are not allowed. Harassment and racial slurs in chat are also not allowed. Everything else inside normal gameplay is mostly fair game.

The world has been around since 2011 so the terrain is super mixed. You can find really old areas and ruins and if you travel far enough you can reach newer land that was generated after 2014. Sometimes player and mob heads drop in combat so fights can give you cool trophies.

There is a Town Hall where people talk about projects and vote on big stuff like when to update and how the city should grow. Updates to new versions happen slowly and only when players agree.
