I found Rooted Realm and it is a long term Minecraft world that never wipes. It is semi vanilla and it tries to make playing feel more rewarding for different kinds of players.

They do consistent events with special rewards and they also do holiday stuff. They said an Easter Island area is opening at the start of April with special rewards and things to do.
