WhimsyWillow is a small community server that is running Season 3 and this time it is modded. The mod choices were picked by the community so it feels like everyone helped shape the server.
There is a ton to explore with over 100 biomes plus extra structures around the world. There is also the Create mod so players can build machines and do big projects as long as it is reasonable.
The server has a live world map so you can see the world and what is going on. Progression is made more interesting with more ores plus new tools and weapons.
Spawn is kept nice with a shop district and player run shops that can sell anything they want. The staff and players want ideas too so suggestions matter and they try to run events sometimes to keep the server feeling active.
It is whitelist only and everyone is welcome as long as you want to join in and have fun with the community.
