I found this server after trying so many that felt empty or way too crowded. Other places were loud or reset all the time and it just got really annoying.
This server felt different right away. The spawn is simple and not full of crazy stuff and there were just a few players chatting. Someone said welcome and asked if I needed help and it actually felt real.
People here talk and help each other and it feels like you can just relax and play. I started with a tiny farm then made it bigger and kept going until I became one of the richest players on the server.
Now when I log in it does not feel like just another random server. It feels like coming home and hanging out with people who actually care that you are there.

EncoreSMP is a simple vanilla style survival server on Java 1.21.1 that was started about a month ago. The owner built their base far away so the spawn area is still pretty fresh. Near spawn there is only a mob farm and a sugar cane farm so the world feels almost new.
The owner wants the server to stay as hands off as possible. They work a normal 9 to 5 job and usually play in the evenings or on weekends. They will try to fix technical problems on the server but social problems might not get handled fast. I found this server called RelicSMP and it is a brand new vanilla style SMP that just started. The world is fresh so everyone is still building up and making the first bases and stories.

This is a small ATM 10 To The Sky server that stays up long term so worlds do not get wiped all the time.
