It has DF awakenings and player driven lore. People can make their own factions like pirates and marines and other branches. Players also make POIs and there are events that get set up by players too.

There is claim protection but it gets disabled during a siege in wars. The server is also pushing more lore and rp and there is a backstory but you do not have to roleplay if you do not want to.
