I found a small modded server called Fools Ambrosia and it is really big on roleplay and story. The whole world has this myth vibe with immortals and mortals and a long history of wars and fallen gods. Now there are only four gods left and they made something new which is you.

This server is called A Zombie Pigman Broke My Door and it is a semi anarchy survival world that has been running for over 6 years. It feels like classic Minecraft with almost no rules and it has a really strong history from being up for so long.

There is only one rule on the server. You are not allowed to cheat or hack. No hacked clients and no cheating. Besides that you can basically do what you want. That means you can build or fight or trade or grief or go exploring or just hang out in chat.

The server is mainly vanilla and the plugins are just for quality of life so it still feels like normal Minecraft. There is a high mob cap so you can make efficient farms if that is your thing.

TendoMC is a modded Naruto style server where you play as a ninja and go through custom quests and boss fights. The server uses CustomNPCs so the enemies actually use abilities and jutsu type attacks. There is a lot of focus on story and they keep adding more lore events.

You can choose between five nations like Leaf Sand Stone Cloud and Mist. Each nation has its own NPC shop that sells special outfits and some other items so you can really look like you belong to that village.
