I found a survival SMP server that works for both Java and Bedrock players. It feels stable and it has a small community that actually seems pretty solid.
Raiding bases is allowed so you have to be smart about where you build. There are some basic commands like random teleport and an auction thing. Players sometimes give out good loot and there are money drops sometimes too.
