UneasyVanilla is a vanilla Minecraft server that mixes anarchy and survival. It has been running for over four years so the world feels huge and lived in. When you first join you spawn in a crazy maze of lavacasts because the whole spawn area has been griefed. If you escape you can run off and build bases and explore.
The server tries to stay close to the original Minecraft vision. There are some rules but they are mostly there to keep the server fair and running well. Staff are active and ban cheaters so the gameplay feels more legit.
The community feels pretty relaxed and kind of tight knit. You can run into surprise encounters while you travel so you never really know what will happen. You can look for allies test your survival skills or start big building projects far from spawn.

This is a Minecraft event server that runs origin themed events. From what I saw players usually get split into 2 or 4 teams and each team has a specific origin. The events are hosted over about a week but they often end up lasting around 4 days.
The next event is called Vitality and it is a free for all where you choose your own origin. It looks like the server focuses on short intense events instead of a long term world. People join for the event then play hard for a few days.
The staff here are more lenient than most event servers and the rules are not super strict. Because of that some people might not like the chat vibe. There was a group that left in a past event because of what staff said. So if you join you should know the server is more relaxed about what people say.

This is a modded Minecraft server that feels like medieval fantasy smashed together with an apocalypse. You load in and it already feels different because of all the mods.
There are almost 200 mods and a lot of them are performance and quality of life so the game runs smoother and just looks nicer. There are also decorative mods so you can make your base look really cool without lagging your game.
The rules are super simple. No cheating and no Xray and you still have to follow whatever is written in the discord rules. Besides that you can pretty much cause chaos and do your own thing.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 and you have to join the discord to get the modpack and the server IP. If you like modded survival that is kind of wild and not super strict this server fits that style.

There is no land claim system, so players are free to raid bases, form societies, or survive alone far from others. Player versus player combat is allowed, including killing other players at any time. The server avoids crystal based combat, aiming for a more traditional style of PvP.
