This is a modded geopolitical server called Globe++ and it runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. The whole idea is to build nations start wars and do diplomacy with other players.
The current map is based on the areas around the North Sea and the server goes for a medieval theme with the mods they choose. You use a modpack on CurseForge but you can use other launchers too. I found this Minecraft host called KingsDomain and it is actually free and not trash. The default plan gives 3 GB RAM 25 GB SSD and 200 percent CPU which is kind of crazy for a free plan.
The cool part is the server stays online all the time. There are no forced ads no shutdown timer and no weird queue stuff. So it feels like a real 24 7 server and not some fake free thing.
They also have a coin system where you can upgrade your server without using real money. You just grab coins from links that refresh every hour and then you can get more RAM CPU or storage.

This is a modded Minecraft community called CircleCube for players who are 18 or older. They run two modded servers and the owner is working on their own modpack that will take a long time to make.

Lodestone is a Minecraft worldbuilding and geopolitics server that is going into closed beta. It is about towns and nations and war and trade so it feels like a big world where players fight for power.

I found this Minecraft community called Forge Gaming and it has three different realms to play on. One realm is for new players and another realm is for trusted players who like long term survival. They even still have their original realm from 2017 that has never been wiped so you can see a really old world that kept going for years.
Everyone hangs out in their Discord server and it is very organized. They have channels for games and hobbies and life updates and also screenshots and media and even stuff like food and pets. People talk there a lot and they seem pretty active.
