This is a hardcore SMP where every life matters a lot. You only get one life on the whole server. If you die you are banned and there are no second chances at all.
It is semi anarchy so PvP is allowed and raiding and griefing are allowed too. People can form alliances and then betray each other. You have to be really careful who you trust.
Staff does not jump in to protect you. They do not fix wars or fights or politics. Players control what happens on the server.
The world border is huge so there is a lot of room to explore and hide. People can make secret bases or try to build long term empires if they can stay alive.
If you join you have to play smart and not waste your first day because one mistake can be the end.
